Club Information

History for the Santa Clarita Valley Contemporary Car Club is as follows. Our club was established in 1987 in the Santa Clarita Valley. During these past 20+ years, our car club has been very active in local community in various ways that have directly or indirectly involved local charity organizations.

The purpose of the club is to bring together classic car enthusiast, and to promote the restoration and preservation of these fine automobiles. As part of this philosophy, we promote monthly cruises both official and member initiated.

We promote the awareness of these two organizations. The
Contemporary Historical Vehicle Association (CHVA) and the Association of California Car Clubs (ACCC). Both assist the classic car enthusiasts with information and awareness about state and national topics.

If you are interested in becoming a new member contact the club president via email or come to the first available general club meeting. At this meeting you will be introduced to the current attending members as a potential new member.  For further information contact any one of the current club officers.

Meetings are held on the 4th Thursday of every month (except June, and December) at the "Margarita's Mexican Grill," located at 23320 West Valencia Blvd. in Santa Clarita.  Eating begins at 6:00 pm, with the meeting beginning at 7:00 pm.  The June club meeting is a yearly club picnic in the park, location varies.  There is a yearly Christmas party (which also doubles as the December meeting), and the yearly Christmas light tour of the houses in the Santa Clarita Valley.

Cruises are scheduled at various dates and times during the course of the year. There are numerous scheduled and non-scheduled cruises which take place each month to many fun and interesting locations and events. Members in good standing are kept informed of these events via email and through our regularly scheduled meetings. Members are encouraged to take part and enjoy these events.
